Example advertising for Decadent Soda flavors

A growing trend in packaging design has been characterizing their flavor to appeal more to human's innate craving for personalized emotional connection. Decadent Cream Soda is a packaging design case study on a characterization of products. While it could have been taken literally like a mascot, I decided to design cream soda labels reflecting eras: the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. The design channels fashion and lingo trends of each time period. The label is mostly transparent to also allow the form of the pop top soda bottle speak to nostalgia. The faux company is called "Decadent" and is based on the word "decade" and the satisfying indulgence of sweetness of the cream soda drink.
